A collective project by a group where each individual creates there own Ambient recording based on a common 'seed' file.

Each project starts with a seed file submitted by one of the group. The seed can vary greatly, ranging from a short collection of sample sounds to very long pieces. They can be used to construct an original piece or act as a substrate to be built upon.

The seed file will be distributed to anyone who wishes to participate. Participants will take the seed and use it to build an Ambient piece of any length. There are no hard and fast rules other than that some portion of the seed should be evident though it can be highly processed and manipulated.

As participants submit their version, copies will be produced and distributed back out to those who have sent in pieces for that seed. Each new submission earns the participant a copy of the set and future issues as they are submitted.

This is an open group, all are welcome to participate.
